Church Plant

We are really excited to be planting a new church in Shepherd’s Bush in West London!

What's the backstory?
Since Trinity Church Central London began in 2014, we have always hoped and prayed to be a church which will plant more churches. In 2021, our Associate Pastor, Dave Seckington, and his wife, Anna, wonderfully shared that they felt God was calling them to plant a new church in their area. There are over 50,000 residents there from almost every nation and across the whole socio-economic scale. They feel there is a great need there for people to hear about Jesus, and therefore a great opportunity for the message of Jesus Christ to bring life and light to people. We have now been praying, planning and working for 2 years to start this new church.
What is currently happening?
Dave and Anna are currently trying to gather a community together to become a new church family. In 2023, they launched a weekly Community Group in Shepherd’s Bush on Tuesday nights. They have also launched a weekly Alpha group for people interested in exploring the Christian faith and asking questions. They are hoping that in 2024 they will gather enough people to start meeting as a church family on Sundays.
Why get involved?
  1. Adventure - this is an amazing opportunity to see God tangibly start something new. We started Trinity Church Central London with just 7 people doing a bible study and it has been amazing to see God grow it into the church family we have today. We are praying God will lead us on another adventure in Shepherd’s Bush!
  2. Community - any time we go on an adventure with others, it builds amazing bonds between us. This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a family on an amazing mission as we follow and trust God, and build deep relationships with others.
  3. Growth - when we step out in faith and follow God, he does not only work through us, but usually works even more deeply within us. This is a wonderful chance to really grow as a believer.
How could you get involved?
  1. Join the Community Group - they meet every Tuesday night in Shepherd’s Bush from 6.30-8.30pm, with dinner included
  2. Meet for a coffee - Dave would be so happy to tell you more about the church plant and answer any questions over a coffee or a phone call if easier.
  3. Pray - pray about whether God would like you to get involved in this new church plant. Also pray for Dave, Anna and the team as they follow God on this adventure.
  4. Tell others - do you know anyone who might be interested in being part of this? We’d be so thankful to be put in touch with them if so.
